The layout is pretty straight forward. The fairways are spotty and greens conditions vary wildly thought the year. Most holes are straight and greens generally flat. Sand traps are usually poorly cared for. Practice facility is poor. Virtually never see a marshal on the course. Was a better value before the city raised prices. The pricing relative to the layout and conditions make other courses in the area a little more attractive.

The track is very good at 6,950 yards.
The greens are never any good...poa annua and poorly maintained unless you play EARLY in the Morning and not past 8-9 a.m.
Best holes are 2 from the shute, 6-7 and my personal favorite is #9, a DLR at about 430. Good on Back 9 are 11,15-16-17.
Cost is good. Twilight is very good pricing for late in day 9 holers after work.
It is a city course and it is what it is...It ain-t Riveria!

I've played this course during the weekday morning several times recently and the pace of play was way under 4 hours. It is a traditional course, no funky ways to lose your ball, no cliffs on one side and rattlesnake infested hillside one the other of the fairways. The greens have healed from being plugged and are in good shape. Everyone at the course has been friendly. It is a great course to work on your game in under 4 hours and have a good time. I don't live in the area but I hear the pace gets pretty slow on weekends, but it does in Venrura County where I live too.
